Weytk (Hello)

Rocky was born in Jasper, Alberta and raised in Valemount, British Columbia, where her love for the outdoors and nature grew.

In 1984 she met her soul mate, the most wonderful man (next to her father) husband Rick. With encouragement and guidance from her husband, family and the Elders from the Shuswap Nation, she became captivated in learning all the Arts that her heritage had to offer.

In the mid 90's Rocky and her husband learned wood carving and in 1999 she was introduced to Sweewa a Sewtskem' (a master carver). Since then, she has studied the art of silver carving under her teacher. Rocky's work speaks of her passion for life and for her heritage.
